MARY JANE

Belakangan ini, gw lagi suka banget ama lagu Mary Jane-nya Alanis Morissette. Enggak tahu kenapa, saat dengerin lagu ini, ada sesuatu yang terbawa. Membawa kesedihan, sepertinya. Gita bilang ke gw, "Wied, kalau lo merasa diri lo adalah Candy-Candy, Nulur merasa dirinya Mary Jane". Hmm ... apa yang bikin si Nulur merasa jadi Mary Jane itu ada pada lirik /I hear you're losing weight again Mary Jane/Do you ever wonder who you're losing it for/. Kata Nulur, dia enggak tahu buat siapa dia ngurusin badannya--dan dia emang berhasil ngurusin tuh badan yang gak gendut-gendut amat. Saat dengerin lagu ini, ada yang terbawa: Nulur dan juga kesedihan. Bukan berarti Nulur identik ama kesedihan. Malah sebaliknya, Nulur itu musim semi. Ada kebahagiaan yang selalu dibawanya. Kalau gw teringat Nulur saat dengerin lagu ini, itu cuma karena Nulur merasa dirinya adalah Mary Jane (itu masih bisa diterima). Tapi, kalau Gita merasa dirinya adalah Alanis Morissette?

Sepertinya, gw enggak akan pernah bosen dengerin lagu ini.
